The next table shows the variation in mean offtake (TOTYLD) by herd group.

This table, in the format of a Word file, has been produced by a series of steps starting first with Stats → Summary Statistics → Summaries of Groups (Tabulation)… to produce the dialog box with 'No. of Observations', 'Means' and 'Variances' ticked; by clicking the 'Save' button the results can be displayed as a table in a work sheet.
